Education Engagement Specialist

Type of position: Full time

Location: Washington DC (Remote Eligible) 

Compensation Range: $55,000 to $60,000

As the Education Engagement Specialist at EARTHDAY.ORG you will be instrumental in supporting our global efforts to increase our Earth Day Educator Network. This role will be pivotal in building and maintaining our global network with educators through strategic communications and resource development.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Principle duties will include the following: 

  • Support the Education Team in facilitating meetings and communications as it relates to the global network of educators 
  • Develop resources and materials to engage our global network of educators 
  • Support the operations and ongoing communication with our education members and partners 
  • Support the Education Team by attending national conferences to support EDN objective for educator outreach  
  • Occasional travel may be required  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, sustainability, or a related field 
  • Experience working in program management, communications, or leading campaigns 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
