EARTHDAY.ORG is working to advance the role of women in our evolving green economy.

We believe that women’s attitudes and ideas will not only influence the climate change debate but also bring about lasting change in the transition away from fossil fuels. That said, there is a lack of women currently working in leadership positions in government, business, sciences and NGOs.

Let’s reshape that trend.

Our Global Policy Platform, designed to encourage and expand women’s leadership, continues to see significant results. Consultations and conferences with key decision makers around the globe – plus a public information and media campaign – has helped more women assume leadership positions and given those already in leadership the opportunity to bring their ideas and solutions forward.
