Rusul is the Middle East and North Africa Director for Earth Day 2020. He is an Iraqi-American born in Basra, Iraq, and was granted as a refugee in 2009 to the United States. He primarily leads the outreach efforts in the Middle East and North Africa calling for climate actions. Rusul graduated from Electric Technology, Basra Technical Institute in 2003, and also obtained a Project Management Certificate from University of California, Irvine. Outside of EDN, he likes soccer and graphic designing.
